The team
The People behind the work
Troy – Director
Troy founded Create From Concepts with a passion for designing and building custom cabinetry that stands the test of time. With over 30 years in the industry and more than 25 years leading Create From Concepts, he works closely with every client to bring their vision to life. Troy’s favourite projects are custom joinery, guiding clients from concept through to completion and being involved every step of the way. The most rewarding part of his job is seeing a finished project and watching a customer’s vision become reality.
Andrew – Foreman
Andrew has been part of the Create From Concepts family for over 18 years, beginning his career as an apprentice and progressing to Foreman. He oversees projects from concept to completion, ensuring every detail meets our high standards. Andrew has a passion for working with solid timbers, particularly Blackbutt, Messmate, American Oak and other exotic species. Known for his perfectionism, he’s rarely happier than when using his Lamello biscuit joiner and plunge router to create seamless joins and beautifully crafted curves.
Tom – Tradie
Tom brings six years of cabinet making experience to the Create From Concepts team and enjoys building cabinetry that combines precision with practicality. His hands-on approach and attention to detail help ensure every project is manufactured and installed to the highest standard. Tom particularly enjoys the installation phase, where he gets to see each project come together and transform a client’s space
Lachie – Apprentice
Lachie joined Create From Concepts in 2023 and is completing his apprenticeship while learning every aspect of the cabinet making trade. Working alongside our experienced team, he’s developing strong skills in the manufacture and installation of custom cabinetry, with a particular passion for building kitchens from start to finish. Lachie enjoys learning new techniques every day and takes pride in contributing to projects that transform clients’ homes.
